The all new Ice Cream Sandwich FaceUnlock feature from Android

We always hate to type passwords to unlock our mobile but we still prefer our mobile to be secured so that no one else shall access it. One question that we all have is “what if someone manages to find my password and open my mobile?”

Here comes a perfect solution for mobile users who are tired of using Passwords. Matias Duarte on behalf of Google introduced face unlock security system a new feature of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. However there was a bit of fun as the new Galaxy Nexus kept its secret and didn’t reveal its features, keeping Duarte locked out.

Never the less this impressive feature will fill full long dream of mobile users who are tired of using passwords but still keeping their mobile as a private asset.

Similar feature was available in the past through facelock, but only via 3rd party application which was found only on Sybmian 3.

Since Android has complete control on market share of the Smartphone Operating systems Google has reintroduced the Facelock feature into Ice Cream Sandwich rather than using third party application for this implementation.

Mobile users and particularly youths are rejoiced at this new feature from Google Android. Mobile apps developers are also taken by surprise and they feel this new feature will contribute to the development of future mobile technologies.
