Network Administrator

 

 infrastructures across the entire organization will fall within the purview of this role. Additionally, this person should have a high degree of success integrating and/or troubleshooting network, VPN, firewall, Windows Servers/VMs, and cloud service issues.

Managing domains: Creating and managing user accounts, assigning passwords, and specifying group memberships and monitoring compliance with AD policies and standards • Auditing user permissions: Organizing users into groups to easily assign permissions to shared resources. • Developing disaster recovery strategies and monitoring compliance with AD policies and standards. • Develop documentation and diagrams of entire DJJ network. • Replicating directory information and making enterprise-level changes to the Active Directory also monitoring synchronization, replication, and reviewing DC event and security logs • Controls the daily operation of computer networks, including LAN-to-LAN and WAN systems; plans, suggests, and helps with the design of local or distant computer systems; assesses system performance and makes recommendations. • Provides technical assistance and support to users of the Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, and the Intranet /Internet.
